“Everyone prepare yourself!” ordered Bear.
The men’s chattering and talking stopped immediately. They heard harsh howling, and saw hundreds of wolves suddenly appear over the opposite hill top.
The wolves were all deadly, yet small, about the size of your ordinary large dog. Then, they attacked! One wolf went for Gray, but Bear slashed it with his sword. The other went for a man, but three men stopped it with their spears.
It was a fierce battle, and the wolves killed fifteen of his valuable men. It finally came down to twenty one wolves, which were all huddled together in a pack. They just growled and got ready to charge at the people. The humans went at the wolves one last time to fight.
